Lithium Methoxide

Lithium methanolate is primarily used as a condensing agent and strong base catalyst in organic synthesis reactions, as well as a methoxylating agent in the production of vitamins and sulfamethidine drugs. Lithium methoxide is used in organic synthesis reactions such as transesterification.

Lithium methoxylate is commonly used as a reagent in organic synthesis, and can be used in esterification reactions and deprotonation reactions of carbonyl compounds.
