With increasingly stringent national environmental protection requirements, emission standards for VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are becoming more stringent. Previously, the emission standard for non-methane total hydrocarbons was <120 mg/Nm³, but now some regions have reduced it to <40 mg/Nm³. In the chemical industry, exhaust gas treatment has always been a major challenge. Now, catalytic combustion of exhaust gas to recover heat and generate electricity solves both the emission problem and improves economic efficiency.

 

Battery Dehydrogenation Catalysts

Many people may not know that nickel-metal hydride and lithium batteries produce trace amounts of hydrogen and organic matter during charging and discharging. When the hydrogen concentration exceeds 4%, there is a risk of explosion. Therefore, some manufacturers have developed dehydrogenation catalysts for use at room temperature, effectively improving battery safety.

The three-way catalytic converter is one of the most common catalysts used in automobiles. Its main function is to convert nitrogen oxides and organic matter emitted by the vehicle into harmless nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and water, thus purifying the environment. The three-way catalytic converter plays a crucial role in automobile exhaust treatment.
