Applications
DBM is used as a co-stabilizer in calcium/zinc hydroxyl salt stabilization systems in the manufacture of PVC mineral water bottles. 1,3-diphenylpropane-1,3-dione can also be used as an analytical reagent for the determination of carbon disulfide and thallium, gravimetric determination of uranium, spectrophotometric determination of U+4, and extraction of silver, aluminum, barium, beryllium, calcium, cadmium, cobalt, copper, iron, gallium, mercury, indium, lanthanum, magnesium, manganese, nickel, lead, palladium, scandium, thorium, titanium, zinc, zirconium, etc.
phenylphenacylketone is a commonly used fluorescent dye, widely applied in chemical analysis, biomedical research, and fluorescence microscopy. It is also used as a dye and indicator for dyeing textiles and sand.

Benzoylmethane is available in 25 kg and 50 kg boxes.
1,3-diphenyl-3-propanedione is irritating to eyes and skin; in case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wear appropriate protective gloves and goggles when using. Avoid contact with strong oxidizers during storage and use to prevent hazardous reactions. Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Ensure good ventilation in the work area. Keep away from sources of ignition.
