Uses

1. Kalium methylate solution is an organometallic compound that can be used as a condensing agent and a strong basic catalyst in the production of methyl formate, dimethyl carbonate, and dimethylformamide.

2. It can be used in the production of sulfonamide drugs (such as sulfadiazine, sulfamethazine, sulfamethoxypyrimidine, sulfabenzylpyrimidine, etc.), trimethoprim, fluorene, vitamin A, vitamin B1, and other pharmaceutical and pesticide products.

3. Potassium methanolate solution can also be used as a catalyst for biodiesel production, a tanning agent for leather, and as an analytical reagent.

Storage Conditions: Store in a sealed container under a dry, inert gas atmosphere. Keep containers sealed and store in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight and preventing damage from excessive temperature or moisture.

Operators must wear chemical safety goggles, respirators, rubber gloves, and other protective equipment to avoid skin contact and inhalation of methanol vapor. Therefore, keep it away from fire sources and take precautions against fire and sunlight during storage and transportation. In environments containing potassium methoxide solution, avoid generating static electricity to prevent the risk of combustion or explosion.
