Flonicamid

Flunicotamid is selective, systemic, has strong penetrating power, and a long-lasting effect. It can be used on fruit trees, grains, potatoes, rice, cotton, vegetables, beans, cucumbers, eggplants, melons, tea trees, and ornamental plants to control piercing-sucking pests such as aphids, whiteflies, brown planthoppers, thrips, and leafhoppers, with particular effectiveness against aphids.

Fipronil flonicamid is a pyridine amide insecticide with a novel mechanism of action. It has no effect on acetylcholinesterase and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, but exhibits excellent neurotoxicity and rapid antifeedant activity against aphids. Aria works by inhibiting the sucking action of pests. After ingesting the agent, pests quickly stop sucking and eventually starve to death. According to electronic insect sucking behavior (EMIF) analysis, this agent prevents the stylet tissue of sucking pests such as aphids from penetrating plant tissue, thus achieving its effect. It possesses strong systemic properties and good translocation activity, requires low dosage, exhibits high activity, and has a long-lasting effect. It shows no cross-resistance with organophosphates, carbamates, and pyrethroids, and has excellent ecological compatibility. It also demonstrates high activity against cotton aphids, which are susceptible to organophosphates, carbamates, and pyrethroids. Furthermore, it is effective against other piercing-sucking pests.

Flonicamid is packaged in cardboard drums.
